I came home from SXSW and re-created the mix I did at SXSW for the TWO SEVENS CLASH event. I use guitar pedals on a regular basis, which were missing from the live mix done on Mar 17th at District 301 in Austin. The sequence is the same. All 45s. All vinyl.

This mix was done and issued as a mixed CD in '99...instantly sold out... i found a disk which had the mix on it...and so here it is...

Loaded a stack of Gangstarr vinyl and played all Gangstarr during the first hour of ROCKSTEADY MONDAYS, this past Monday...GURU had successful surgery after suffering a cardiac arrest...My great friend DJ MELODIC experienced the same (also went through a medically induced coma) about 2 years ago and he has now fully recovered and is outfitted with a pacemaker, so things look solid for GURU...hopefully he recovers just as well.
