Loaded a stack of Gangstarr vinyl and played all Gangstarr during the first hour of ROCKSTEADY MONDAYS, this past Monday...GURU had successful surgery after suffering a cardiac arrest...My great friend DJ MELODIC experienced the same (also went through a medically induced coma) about 2 years ago and he has now fully recovered and is outfitted with a pacemaker, so things look solid for GURU...hopefully he recovers just as well.
